Let me ask you a simple question. What is your homepages address? Just tell me the URL to your homepage.My guess is, that you just told me the domain name, as in www.bettergoogleposition.com.

Right? Of course! But take a second thinking about your website structure. You probably have a default page, like default.asp, index.html or something similar, which work as your homepage. For instance, on my website Toastforums.com, we have a default.asp file. Going to www.toastforums.com and www.toastforums.com/default.asp will bring you to the same page.

So - does it matter which one you use? As I will show you shortly - YES, it truly does matter, and you should think about this EVERY time you make a link to your frontpage.
